Thanks so much, Jesse! This is something I’ve wanted to write about for a while, and I’m very glad I did. I tend to second guess myself a lot, so hearing from others about this topic has been therapeutic in a way. At least I know I’m not the only one struggling with these issues.

As another commenter noted, when using a pen name, you can start to feel responsible for the reputation of a “fake” writer. It’s a really weird thing. So, I’m actually thinking about just dropping the pen name altogether. Time will tell.
